POLICIES & REQUIREMENTS
Northwoods K9 Club is committed to providing safe, structured, and reliable care. The following general requirements help our team prepare for each dog and provide consistent service. Additional service-specific agreements, waivers, and instructions may be presented through our customer portal.
HEALTH AND VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
Dogs must meet the health and vaccination requirements applicable to the service being requested. Customers are responsible for providing current records through our customer portal before arrival. Contact our team before booking if your dog has a recent illness, contagious condition, mobility concern, or other health need that may affect care.
FEEDING, MEDICATIONS, AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Provide complete feeding, medication, behavior, and routine information through our customer portal. Medications must be clearly labeled and accompanied by accurate administration instructions. Please tell our team about allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or special care needs before service begins.
CHECK-IN AND PICKUP
Arrive during your confirmed check-in or appointment window. Pickup times and procedures may vary by service. Contact our team as soon as possible if your plans change or you expect to be late. Additional charges may apply when care extends beyond the confirmed reservation or pickup time.
BEHAVIOR AND SAFETY
Customers must disclose known aggression, bite history, escape behavior, severe anxiety, or other safety concerns before service. Northwoods K9 Club may adjust, pause, reschedule, or decline a service when continuing would create an unreasonable safety or welfare concern for a dog, customer, staff member, or another animal.
PERSONAL ITEMS
Bring only items requested or approved by our team. Clearly label food, medications, and permitted belongings with your name and your dog’s name. Northwoods K9 Club cannot guarantee that personal items will remain undamaged during boarding, training, daycare, or grooming.
CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, AND NO-SHOWS
Please notify Northwoods K9 Club as early as possible when you need to change or cancel a reservation or appointment. Service-specific cancellation, deposit, late-change, and no-show terms may apply and will be communicated during booking or through our customer portal.
GROOMING POLICIES
Grooming services depend on each dog’s size, coat type, coat condition, temperament, health, and requested services. Significant matting, impacted undercoat, behavior, or safety concerns may require a modified service, additional time, additional charges, or rescheduling. Our team will communicate meaningful changes whenever possible.
EMERGENCY CARE
If urgent veterinary attention appears necessary and the customer or emergency contact cannot be reached promptly, Northwoods K9 Club may seek reasonable veterinary care consistent with the applicable service agreement and information provided through the customer portal. Customers remain responsible for veterinary expenses as stated in their signed agreements.
CUSTOMER PORTAL AND AGREEMENTS
Customers must provide accurate and current contact, pet, health, and emergency information through our customer portal. Before services are provided, customers may be required to review and accept applicable agreements, waivers, authorizations, and service-specific policies through the portal.
